The 2012 Acura MDX will probably continue costing slightly more than its alternatives such as the Volvo XC60 or the 2012 Lexus RX350. But the 2012 MDX should remain very competitively priced, undercutting competitors with the same six-cylinder versions such as the 2012 BMW X5,  the Mercedes-Benz ML, and the base Porsche Cayenne, while costing around about the same as the six-cylinder Infiniti FX.
